Money Trap

As a professional student, similar to many new professionals, finances can be daunting.  Few hours pass by that I do not think about my bank account and if I can purchase something, engage in an activity, or so forth without breaking my bank.  The financial struggle can sometimes feel like a trap.

But…what if financial challenges are our reminder that we have been brought here to nourish our heart, soul, and health?  What if the alignment of these aspects of our lives means that the rest of our lives become untouchable?  Do we then see financial challenges as a trap?

Perhaps one of the challenges we face is that we live in a materialist world and thus need to live beyond our means to meet expectations of others.  This week I challenge you to create expectations for yourself and live up to them.
