Remember

I would risk saying that each human being experiences moments of sadness. I do not believe this is a negative thing but that sadness in fact can be a powerful emotion to propel individuals into a new direction. With the help of deep reflection and memory grazing, it is my belief that we can all return to moments of genuine happiness.

This week I encourage you to find an object (or many) to spark a memory of a happy time. What allowed that moment to be happy and how can you find that happiness again today?

For me, it was flipping through photo albums of my childhood and youth. Seeing the smiles on my face and the people I interacted with that allowed me to smile so widely reminded me that my inner child still exists. It is this inner child that I am on the hunt for once again!
